Starter and alternator wiring…

Remove and strip down the sub-harness, you may wish to remove the alternator charge wire and use a piggy-back it to the alternator to starter to battery 12v +ve.
Fit an eyelet (v.high amp rating) to this wire and connect from alternator to starter, so it needs to be fairly short.
Cut the battery terminal from this wire and fit an eyelet (v.high amp rating) where the battery terminal was.
Re-assemble and tape around the plastic conduit.
